We moved to Rainy Burb right around our birthdays in 2003 and have been loving it ever since. Inspired by one of our friends, we decided to create our own blog library in the burb. Nothing fancy nor comprehensive, just some fun stuff since we got married. Hope you enjoy your stay!
In case you want a closer look at a photo or two, most of the photos posted can be enlarged by clicking on them.
cod is from old english for "bag," with obvious migration to a term for scrotum. cod piece came into use due to odd fashion trends. first, men's tights simply had the boys hanging out, but the shirts were long enough to cover it. fashion had the length of shirts come up and the boys were exposed. so, a small pouch was added to keep everyone happy (and warm; i imagine without it would be a bit drafty).
